THanks for your patience. This is a long process… we had to refinance, and thanks to the friendly folks at Albina Bank (may they be blessed by the ghosts of Jon Bonham, John Denver, and Sam Cooke, all at once!), we are up and running. Or at least pouring concrete. Estimated opening date? March 1. It’s going to be great.

Take a glance at the plans on our original website, www.mississippistudios.com – see how beautiful our baby is going to be? You can’t really tell if it’s a boy venue or a girl venue yet, because there are still little flippers where the balcony is going to be, and the stage lights are just little black dots at this point.

Tell you what we DO know though: There are some people we want to thank. First, the musicians, for giving their time so freely and being so understanding about how long this is taking…check out the videos, which we’ll post every week or so! Then, thanks to Lucas Rohlf and Phil Incorvia for making this site possible.

A final, very special thanks to Rejuvenation for agreeing to supply all the lighting and hardware for the new place. It’s gonna glow, in a very classy, down-home, rocking kind of way…

Don’t forget, the restaurant is still open next door. It’s better than ever, and there’s live music there Tuesday evenings (Pete Krebs) and Sunday afternoons (Campfire). Check it out!
